These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Cold Focus app ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you accept these Terms. Cold Focus is provided by the developer Hasan Burak Erdin (Coldfocusapp). If you do not accept the Terms, do not use the App.

1. Description of the Service

Cold Focus is a focus-discipline app that offers focus sessions, distracting-app locking, progress tracking and AI-assisted personal feedback.

Use of the App requires a paid subscription. There is no free version and no limited free tier. New users may be offered a free trial where the store makes one available; at the end of the trial the subscription continues as a paid subscription.

2. Eligibility

You must be 13 years of age or older to use the App. If you are a minor, you must use it under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

3. Account

An automatic anonymous account is created for cloud features. If you want to carry your subscription and progress across devices, you can link your account with Apple or Google; this is optional and is not required in order to purchase. You are responsible for the security of your account and for the activity associated with it.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

All features of the App are offered via a subscription (monthly or yearly); there is no free usage tier.
Payment is charged to your Google Play (or App Store) account at the price shown at the time of purchase.
If there is a free trial, it will automatically convert to the paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel.
The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period.
You can cancel at any time from the subscription settings of the relevant store (Google Play / App Store). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
Refunds are subject to the refund policies of the relevant store.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose; not to reverse-engineer it, not to attempt to bypass security measures, and not to abuse the system or other users. Attempts to circumvent quota/limit protection mechanisms may result in the suspension of your account.

6. Important Notice About App Locking

Distracting-app locking is a self-discipline tool, not a guaranteed, flawless block. Operating-system restrictions, device-manufacturer settings or permission changes may affect how the feature works. Do not rely on the App's lock for emergencies or critical notifications.

7. Not Professional Advice

The App and its AI-generated content are for information and motivation only; they do not constitute medical, psychological or professional advice. Consult a professional for health-related matters.

8. Intellectual Property

The App — including its design, the "Steve" character, its texts and its software — belongs to the developer and is protected by copyright. A limited license is granted for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, distribute or create derivative works from the content.

9. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the App. We do not warrant that the App will operate uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may end your use at any time by uninstalling the App.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will announce significant changes; continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
